D'Amato Family

After what seems like weeks and weeks of rain...New England gifted us with a beautiful warm autumn day. The sun danced through the trees on Hill House Avenue today leaving a vibrant canvas for me to work with as I spent the afternoon with the D'Amato family. We chose Hill House because it's their favorite street to walk down. Draped with hundred year old tree's and lined with mansions that now house Yale offices; I knew that this street would make for plenty of perfect backdrops. My sweet friend Lacey, her husband Sal, son Lorenzo, and their Gia made the afternoon perfect with their laughter, family snuggles, games of hide-and-seek, and dancing. It didn't take long before my heart was stolen by little blue-eyed, six-year old Lorenzo with his toys, tree climbing, and never ending love for his mama! My heart was so full seeing all the love they have for one another. I went in with the goal to not stage the shots, but rather to capture authenticity because life goes by so fast and these little moments are the ones that want to be remembered. I'm so thankful that I was able to spend the afternoon with this amazing family. I hope you enjoy watching their love unfold.

Sal got this tattoo in memory of their last puppy who passed away a few years ago.
